How much of success is actually under our control?
A reading experiment
To rethink
what becomes possible.
A book about the real impact of luck, the decisions we make, and the opportunities we encounter—and how our actions change what becomes possible.
US$6 · One-time payment

Every reader becomes part of the story.
An open question
A small decision.
An unknown outcome.
The book explores decisions, circumstances, and possibilities. Its own story begins with the same things: someone writes it, someone reads it, and neither knows exactly what might follow.
Not proof. Discovery.
A new interpretation, a conversation, a decision—or no change at all. Honest reader experiences are part of the experiment, not advertisements disguised as reviews.
About reader experiencesWhat stays with you
Five questions.
No easy formulas.
Why can the same advice produce completely different lives?
Can you create more places for luck to find you?
When should you persist—and when should you change direction?
Can a good decision still produce a bad result?
A page from the book
Start with a different question.
This book does not promise to teach you how to control your destiny. Nor does it claim that effort will always be rewarded, or that every small decision conceals a great opportunity.
This book examines luck more seriously than we usually do. It offers another way to understand how luck works, how it enters our lives, and why accounting for it can help us make better sense of the world we live in.
But we aren't talking about the luck of superstition, horoscopes, or invisible forces supposedly arranging our fate. We are talking about luck as the circumstances, coincidences, timing, people, and variables that contribute to our outcomes without being entirely under our control.
Behind the book
Andre Castello is the pen name of Andrés Osorio. This book grew out of observing his own life and the lives of others: efforts that did not lead to the expected outcome, opportunities that arrived uninvited, and small decisions that changed a path.
Those experiences raised a question: how much of our lives depends on what we do, and how much on circumstances we never chose? This book explores that relationship—not to offer a formula for success, but to understand our possibilities, judge ourselves more compassionately, and view others with fewer certainties. Its aim is to encourage us to pursue what matters without letting one failed attempt take away the possibility of trying again.

What did the book actually change?
We are not trying to prove that the book is great through reviews. We are trying to discover what it actually produced: a different interpretation, a conversation, a decision—or perhaps no change at all.
Verified reader experiences will appear here after launch. There are no reader reviews to display yet.
