What your purchase includes

The seller is Andrés Osorio, an independent author based in Canada, writing as Andre Castello.

US$6 is a one-time payment for personal access to the complete online book in English and Spanish. It is not a subscription. No printed copy is shipped and no PDF or other downloadable edition is included. Reading requires an internet connection and a current browser on a phone, tablet, or computer.

Prices are in US dollars. Any applicable taxes must be shown before you confirm payment. Your bank may apply currency conversion charges. Sales remain disabled while checkout and tax settings are being prepared.

Planned digital delivery

Once sales open, the intended process is to enter your email, pay, and receive an email link to activate access. You will not need to create an account before purchasing. Email delivery, resend options, and purchase-reference recovery are not yet available in this preview. Access is not a physical shipment.

Terms of use

The book is offered for your personal reading. Purchasing access does not transfer copyright or permission to redistribute, resell, publish, or share the complete text or your access credentials. This does not limit uses permitted by applicable law.

The book offers ideas and reflections, not a guarantee of personal or financial results. It is not a substitute for professional advice about your individual circumstances.

Reader comments are voluntary. If a public review feature is enabled, we will explain what is published before submission. Honest criticism is welcome; spam, threats, and disclosure of other people’s private information are not. No invented reader reviews or purchase counts will be presented as real.

Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Access issues and refunds

Because this is digital reading access, we do not offer a general satisfaction guarantee or discretionary refunds simply for changing your mind after access has been delivered, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If you are charged twice, do not receive the access you purchased, or cannot read because of a problem with our service, contact us. We will verify the purchase and try to restore access. If we cannot provide the purchased access, we will refund that purchase; a verified duplicate charge will also be refunded.

Send your purchase email, date, payment reference if available, and a description of the problem to hello.thetwodollarbook@gmail.com. Do not send full card details or passwords. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where possible; the time to appear depends on the payment provider and your bank.

There is no recurring subscription to cancel and no physical item to return. Any statutory cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights remain unaffected.

Privacy

Information used to provide access

During this private preview, the hosting sign-in service can provide your user ID, email, and profile name so we can check access permissions. When purchases are enabled, purchase records will include email, payment references, amount, currency, date, and access status. If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send.

We use this information to provide reading access, verify purchases, handle support and refunds, protect the service, and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. It is not used to invent endorsements or publicly identify buyers without their permission.

Payments and service providers

Stripe is the planned payment processor. Card entry will take place through its checkout, not in a card form stored by this website. The site stores payment references rather than complete card numbers or card security codes. Hosting, sign-in, and email providers process information needed to operate their services; processing may take place outside your country. The email delivery provider will be identified when that service is configured.

Browser preferences

A language-preference cookie can remember your language for up to one year. Text-size preferences are stored locally in your browser. Sign-in and hosting services may use cookies needed for authentication and security. Clearing browser data may reset preferences or require you to sign in again.

Retention and your requests

Access records are retained as needed to provide the service; transaction and support records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, write to the contact below. We may need to verify your identity. Deletion can affect reading access, and some records may need to be kept where required by law.
